Police are looking for Kevin Banks (pictured), 29, in connection to Adams' murder.

Police are looking for Kevin Banks (pictured), 29, in connection to Adams' murder.

Cops have identified a person of interest in the killing of a long-distance truck driver in the Bronx and are asking the public’s help finding him.

Police say Kevin Banks, 29, was a friend of Brian Adams, 41, who was found dead behind a house on Hollers Ave. near Spring Road in Eastchester about 10:45 a.m. April 28.

Adams was discovered by passersby shirtless by a fence with multiple bruises and cuts to his head and face, as if he had been in a fight, cops said at the time. He had been shot in the head, cops revealed Thursday.

The victim was a long distance trucker who regularly stayed with family and friends in the New York area, according to police sources.

He had over a dozen prior arrests on charges including assault, rape, robbery, and weapons possession, sources said.

Banks is described as black, about 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, with green eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
