Delivery truck tips, leaving Maryland road covered in beer

Maryland authorities say that two people were hurt in a single vehicle crash left a roadway splattered with a shipment of beer.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Authorities say that two people were inside the delivery truck when it overturned at Connecticut Avenue and Georgia Avenue. One person was trapped inside and required rescue.

The driver of the truck reportedly suffered trauma injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital. The truck passenger suffered non life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital.

The collision left the roadway covered in boxes of beer and required ” significant cleanup” before the road was reopened around noon.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
